Litigation Staff Attorney

Job Overview: A law firm in San Diego, CA, is seeking a Litigation Staff Attorney to join their team. The ideal candidate will have the opportunity to gain hands-on experience in complex, high-stakes litigation within an AMLAW 200 firm. Additionally, they will work closely with Healthcare Litigation Practice Group attorneys, focusing on professional liability, medical malpractice, and general liability cases.

Duties:

• Gain hands-on experience in litigation, including depositions and client contact.
• Work on complex, high-stakes litigation cases.
• Collaborate with attorneys at all levels within the Healthcare Litigation Practice Group.
• Conduct research and draft legal documents.
• Assist with case management and trial preparation.

Requirements:

• Excellent academic credentials.
• Strong research and writing skills.
• Previous professional liability, medical malpractice, and general liability experience preferred.
• Admitted to practice in California.

Education:

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

• Admission to the State Bar of California.

Skills:
