Employment Litigation Associate Attorney

A law firm in Irvine is seeking an experienced Employment Litigation Associate Attorney with 4-7 years of experience. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in wage and hour litigation, including class/collective action experience, and a demonstrated interest in labor and employment law.

Job Details:

• Handle wage and hour litigation, including class/collective action cases.
• Draft and respond to discovery requests and initial pleadings.
• Drafted and argued motions and participated in court proceedings.
• Take and defend depositions with confidence.
• Possess excellent academic credentials and strong writing and analytical skills.
• Manage multiple projects efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

Requirements:

• 4-7 years of experience as an Employment Litigation Associate Attorney.
• Admission to the California Bar.

Education:

Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

Admission to the California Bar.

Skills:

• Substantive experience in employment litigation, especially wage and hour cases.
• Comfortable with drafting and responding to discovery and initial pleadings.
• Ability to draft, argue motions, and participate in court proceedings.
• Strong analytical and writing skills.
• Demonstrated interest in labor and employment law.
