Finance Associate Attorney

A law firm seeks a Finance Associate Attorney with expertise in finance transactions, particularly focused on Article 9 of the UCC, syndicated lending, and middle market lending. The ideal candidate will possess 3-5 years of relevant experience and demonstrate proficiency in representing lenders and borrowers in workouts.

Job Overview:

• Position Title: Finance Associate Attorney

• Experience: 3-5 years of finance experience, emphasizing Article 9 of the UCC, syndicated lending, and middle market lending transactions
• Membership: Georgia Bar membership preferred

Duties:

• Represent clients in finance transactions, with a focus on Article 9 of the UCC, syndicated lending, and middle market lending transactions
• Provide legal counsel to both lenders and borrowers in workouts
• Lead transactional documentation and closings
• Conduct legal research and analysis related to finance matters
• Draft and review legal documents, including contracts, agreements, and loan documentation
• Collaborate with colleagues and clients to achieve optimal outcomes

Requirements:

• JD from an accredited law school
• Admission to the Georgia Bar (preferred)
• 3-5 years of finance experience, including a variety of finance transactions
• Strong academic record
• Exceptional analytical, organizational, and writing skills
• Experience leading transactional documentation and closings
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team

Skills:

• Proficiency in finance law, particularly Article 9 of the UCC
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
