The ideal candidate will bring 2-3 years of hands-on experience in either workplace injury law or employee rights matters and a proactive approach to handling complex caseloads.

Duties:

  • Handle a range of legal matters related to workplace injuries and employment disputes

  • Draft pleadings, motions, and briefs tailored to state and administrative forums

  • Perform in-depth legal research to support claims and litigation strategy

  • Represent clients in hearings, mediations, and depositions

  • Partner with senior attorneys to shape case approaches and litigation goals

  • Manage client communication with professionalism and empathy

  • Maintain organized case files and ensure deadlines are consistently met

Requirements:

  • Active license to practice law in North Carolina

  • Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in workers’ compensation or employment law

  • Solid command of litigation procedures and administrative processes

  • Proficiency in legal writing, analysis, and oral advocacy

  • Proven ability to manage multiple cases under deadlines

  • Strong interpersonal skills and client service orientation

Education:

  • Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school

Certifications:
