A law firm located in San Diego is currently seeking a dynamic Junior Tax - Executive Compensation, Employment, and Benefits Associate Attorney. The ideal candidate will have a passion for tax law, with a focus on executive compensation, employment, and benefits. This role offers the opportunity to work on challenging legal matters and collaborate with experienced professionals in a supportive environment.

 

Duties:

  • Provide legal advice and support on matters related to executive compensation, employment, and benefits.
  • Assist in the design and implementation of executive compensation plans and employee benefit programs.
  • Conduct legal research to stay abreast of changes in tax laws and regulations impacting compensation and benefits.
  • Draft and review legal documents, including employment agreements, benefit plans, and compensation packages.
  • Collaborate with internal teams and external clients to address legal issues and provide strategic counsel.
  • Stay informed about industry best practices and trends in executive compensation and benefits.

 

Requirements:

  • 2+ years of experience in executive compensation, employment, and benefits in a law firm setting.
  • Strong understanding of tax laws and regulations related to compensation and benefits.

 

Certifications:

State Bar admission.

 

Education:

Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.

 

Skills:

  • In-depth knowledge of executive compensation, employment, and benefits laws and regulations.
  • Excellent research and analytical skills.
  • Strong drafting and communication skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a team and with clients.
  • Detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy.
