Finance Associate Attorney

A law firm in Washington D.C. seeks a Finance Associate Attorney with at least 3 years of experience. The ideal candidate will possess a combination of project finance and M&A experience, with a preference for Spanish and/or Portuguese fluency.

Duties:

• Conduct legal research and analysis on finance-related matters.
• Draft and review legal documents, contracts, and agreements for finance transactions.
• Provide support in due diligence processes for mergers and acquisitions.
• Assist in negotiations with clients and opposing counsel.
• Handle regulatory compliance tasks related to finance transactions.

Requirements:

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in finance law.
• Experience in project finance and mergers and acquisitions.
• Fluency in Spanish and/or Portuguese is preferred.

Education:

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

• Admission to the District of Columbia Bar.

• Strong understanding of finance law principles and regulations.
