Job Title: Senior Attorney

Job Overview: A law firm is seeking a highly skilled Senior Attorney to join their team in Philadelphia, PA. The ideal candidate will have substantial experience in civil litigation, particularly in state and federal courts. They must possess exceptional research, writing, and analytical skills and a proven ability to manage case dockets, conduct and defend depositions, and appear in court. Experience with multi-district litigation is advantageous. The Senior Attorney will provide high-quality legal representation, maintain client relationships, and contribute to the firm's success.

Duties:

  • Effectively communicate, verbally and in writing, with clients, lawyers, business professionals, and third parties.
  • Produce deliverables, answer phone calls, and reply to correspondence efficiently and responsively.
  • Provide timely, accurate, and quality work products.
  • Successfully meet deadlines and expectations and perform work duties as required.
  • Foster positive work relationships.
  • Comply with all firm policies and practices.
  • Engage in both physical and sedentary activity, such as:
    • Working at a computer for extended periods, including on-screen reading and typing.
    • Participating in digital/virtual conference calls.
    • Participating in meetings as needed.
  • Perform all other duties, tasks, or projects as assigned.

Requirements:

  • Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.
  • Admitted to practice law in Pennsylvania.
  • 4+ years of experience with civil litigation in state and federal courts.
  • Excellent research, writing, and analytical skills.
  • Experience conducting and defending depositions.
  • Proven ability to manage a case docket.
  • Courtroom experience, including trial experience, is preferred.
  • Experience handling multi-district litigation is a plus.

Education and Certifications:

  • Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.
  • Admission to the Pennsylvania State Bar.

Skills:

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong research and analytical abilities.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
  • Proficiency in legal research tools and software.
  • Attention to detail and accuracy.
