Junior/Midlevel Labor and Employment Associate Attorney

A law firm in Philadelphia is seeking a Junior/Midlevel Labor and Employment Associate Attorney with 2-4 years of large law firm experience to join their labor and employment practice. The ideal candidate must possess excellent academic credentials, writing skills, and have experience in employment law or general litigation.

Job Overview:

• Handling labor and employment matters, including counseling, litigation, and investigations
• Utilizing experience in employment counseling, single-plaintiff litigation, class/collective action litigation, and investigations

Duties:

• Providing legal advice and counseling to clients on labor and employment law matters
• Conducting legal research and drafting memoranda, opinions, and other legal documents
• Representing clients in single-plaintiff litigation matters, including discrimination and wrongful termination cases
• Handling class and collective action litigation involving wage and hour disputes and other employment-related claims
• Conducting internal investigations into workplace complaints and advising clients on appropriate actions
• Assisting with compliance efforts, including drafting policies and procedures and conducting training sessions
• Collaborating with senior attorneys and support staff on case management and strategy

Requirements:

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school
• Admission to the Bar in Pennsylvania or eligibility for admission
• 2-4 years of experience in labor and employment law or general litigation
• Excellent academic credentials with strong writing skills
• Meaningful experience with employment counseling, single-plaintiff litigation, class/collective action litigation, and investigations
