Associate Attorney needed for Beverly Hills office

A law firm in Beverly Hills, CA, is seeking an Associate Attorney to join their team. The candidate will play a pivotal role in the plaintiff-side employment litigation practice, handling a variety of employment-related cases, including wrongful termination, retaliation, discrimination, and wage and hour matters. The ideal candidate should possess litigation experience, exceptional communication skills, and a strong understanding of employment law.

Duties:

• Assist with plaintiff-side employment litigation practice
• Handle all aspects of litigation, from case evaluation to resolution
• Prepare pleadings, discovery, and motions
• Make court appearances as necessary
• Communicate effectively with clients and opposing counsel
• Develop legal strategies to resolve cases
• Take and defend depositions
• Advocate for clients in mediations and arbitrations

Requirements:

• Licensed and in good standing with the CA Bar
• 1+ years of employment litigation experience
• Familiarity with conducting legal research and writing
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Strong understanding of employment law

Education & Certifications:

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school
• Admission to the State Bar of California
