Job Title: Litigation Attorney

Job Overview:
A Los Angeles-based litigation firm with a diverse and high-stakes caseload is seeking an accomplished Trial Attorney to enhance its litigation team. This opportunity is ideal for a legal professional with courtroom confidence, a sharp litigation mindset, and a drive to advocate for clients in complex disputes. The firm represents clients across several sectors and offers a robust platform for trial work and strategic advocacy.

Duties:

  • Represent clients in matters including labor and employment disputes, transportation claims, construction liability, general liability, personal injury, appellate litigation, and related litigation services.

  • Develop and execute detailed litigation strategies from inception to resolution.

  • Manage all stages of litigation, including motion practice, depositions, written discovery, hearings, and trials.

  • Act as first or second chair in trial proceedings, including voir dire, witness examination, and argument presentation.

  • Work closely with paralegals and associate attorneys to deliver effective client representation.

  • Maintain proactive communication with clients, ensuring regular updates and strategic guidance.

Requirements:

  • Active license to practice law in the State of California.

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in civil litigation, with trial involvement strongly preferred.

  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple active matters simultaneously.

  • Comfortable working in a high-paced, results-oriented environment.

Education:

  • Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

  • Member in good standing of the California State Bar.

Skills:

  • Advanced legal research, writing, and oral advocacy.

  • Strong negotiation and case assessment skills.

  • Strategic problem-solving under pressure.

  • Collaborative mindset with an ability to lead trial teams.
