Jr. Partner / Senior Associate Attorney - Labor & Employment

Job Overview

A law firm seeks a Jr. Partner or Senior Associate Attorney with 6-8+ years of experience in Labor & Employment law to join its Philadelphia, Pennsylvania office. This role offers a chance to engage in diverse labor and employment matters, including single plaintiff claims and wage & hour class actions, while contributing significantly to the practice group.

Duties

• Handle complex litigation, defending employers against discrimination, harassment, and other claims.
• Draft pleadings, motions, and discovery documents; develop litigation strategies.
• Conduct document reviews, work with clients, and communicate with opposing counsel.
• Second-chair trials, depositions, and evidentiary hearings.

Requirements

• 6-8+ years of experience in labor and employment law.
• Proficiency in drafting persuasive legal documents and developing litigation strategies.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Admission to the Pennsylvania and New Jersey Bar; NY Bar admission is a plus.

Education

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications

• Bar admission in Pennsylvania and New Jersey.
