Litigation Member Attorney

Job Overview: A law firm is seeking a highly experienced Litigation Member Attorney to join their team in Oxford, MS. The ideal candidate will possess exceptional litigation skills and be licensed to practice law in Mississippi. This role requires a Juris Doctorate or higher degree.

Duties:

• Handle complex litigation cases from inception to resolution
• Conduct legal research and analysis to provide sound legal advice
• Draft legal documents, including pleadings, motions, and briefs
• Represent clients in court proceedings, including hearings, trials, and arbitrations
• Collaborate with other attorneys and legal staff on case strategies
• Communicate effectively with clients, opposing counsel, and court personnel
• Manage case files and ensure compliance with deadlines and court orders

Requirements:

• Minimum of 7+ years of litigation experience
• Licensed to practice law in Mississippi
• Juris Doctorate degree or higher from an accredited law school

Education:

• Juris Doctorate degree from an accredited law school

Certifications:

• Must be licensed to practice law in Mississippi
