Duties:

  • Manage and supervise a team of intake attorneys, providing guidance and support throughout the case intake process.
  • Oversee the screening of potential client cases, ensuring adherence to firm criteria and legal standards.
  • Conduct interviews with prospective clients to gather necessary information and assess case viability.
  • Collaborate with attorneys and staff to evaluate case merits and determine appropriate legal strategies.
  • Develop and implement intake procedures and protocols to streamline processes and improve efficiency.
  • Monitor case progression and ensure timely follow-up with clients to provide updates and address concerns.
  • Review and analyze case documentation, including medical records, police reports, and witness statements.
  • Prepare demand packages and negotiate settlements with insurance companies on behalf of clients.
  • Stay abreast of relevant legal developments and participate in continuing education to enhance knowledge and skills.

Requirements:

  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
  • Admission to the State Bar of Texas in good standing.
  • Minimum of 5+ years of experience in plaintiff personal injury practice.
  • Proven leadership and management abilities, with experience supervising legal professionals.
  • Strong understanding of pre-litigation processes and procedures.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with clients, attorneys, and staff.
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational and analytical skills.
  • Ability to work independently and handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency in legal research, writing, and case analysis.

Education and Certifications:

  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
