Duties:

  • Represent plaintiffs in personal injury cases through all phases of litigation.
  • Prepare pleadings, motions, and other legal documents necessary for trial.
  • Conduct thorough legal research and analysis to support case strategy.
  • Communicate effectively with clients, opposing counsel, and the court.
  • Attend hearings, mediations, and settlement conferences as necessary.
  • Prepare and examine witnesses during trial proceedings.
  • Collaborate with colleagues on case strategy and tactics.

Requirements:

  • Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.
  • Admitted to practice law in Texas.
  • Experience as a Plaintiff Trial Attorney.
  • Demonstrated success in first chair trial experience.
  • Proficiency in conducting depositions, particularly with corporate defendants and expert witnesses.
  • Strong negotiation and advocacy skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage a caseload effectively.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Education:

  • Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

  • Admission to the State Bar of Texas.
