A law firm is seeking an Intake Attorney for their Los Angeles, CA, location. The candidate will engage and sign clients in various areas of law, including wrongful death, catastrophic injury, workplace retaliation and harassment, unpaid wages, and wrongful termination. Determine the viability of potential cases, manage client expectations, and guide clients through the intake process. Fluency in English and Spanish is required.

Duties:

  • Engage and sign clients in areas such as wrongful death, TBI, catastrophic injury, workplace retaliation and harassment, unpaid wages, and wrongful termination.
  • Determine the viability of potential cases through a thorough evaluation.
  • Sell the firm's strengths and capabilities while managing client expectations and convincing them to sign.
  • Communicate with clients to address concerns and provide updates on case progression, including availability for nights and weekends.
  • Travel to locations to speak with and sign clients.
  • Assist potential clients step-by-step through the intake process.

Requirements:

  • Licensed and in good standing with the California State Bar.
  • Bilingual in English and Spanish.
  • Strong sales skills with a demonstrated ability to close.
  • 2+ years of experience working in plaintiff-side personal injury or employment law.
  • Strong familiarity with pre-litigation and litigation processes in personal injury and employment law.

Education & Certifications:

  • Juris Doctor degree from an accredited law school.
  • Active membership in good standing with the California State Bar.

  • Ability to build rapport and trust with potential clients.
  • Strong negotiation and persuasion skills.
  • Attention to detail and accuracy in case evaluation.
