Duties:

• Oversee a portfolio of individual and multi-party litigation cases from initiation through resolution or trial

• Engage with clients regularly to assess legal strategies and case developments

• Draft pleadings, motions, and legal memoranda; conduct depositions and discovery

• Appear in court and participate in pre-trial and trial proceedings

• Contribute to firm-wide legal initiatives and professional development activities

• Remain informed on legal developments in plaintiff-side litigation in California

• Attend and engage with local and national trial lawyer associations

• Cultivate and maintain referral networks and potential client relationships

Requirements:

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in civil litigation

• Demonstrated commitment to client advocacy, with an emphasis on plaintiff-side representation

• Strong litigation foundation, including case management and trial preparation

• Familiarity with California state and federal court procedures

Education:

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an ABA-accredited law school

Certifications:

• Active and in good standing with the California State Bar

Skills:

• Exceptional legal research and persuasive writing ability

• High-level verbal and interpersonal communication skills

• Ability to manage time effectively and prioritize workload under pressure

• Proficiency in navigating sensitive, emotionally complex cases
