Mid-/Senior-level Associate Attorney

A law firm located in Charlotte, NC, is actively seeking a Mid-/Senior-level Associate Attorney. This position requires a background in investment management and fund formation and will play a pivotal role in the strategic growth of the Investment Funds team. Duties:

• Provide legal counsel and support for investment management and fund formation, ensuring compliance with applicable regulations and industry best practices.
• Collaborate closely with partners and senior attorneys to develop and implement strategic initiatives for the growth of the Investment Funds team.
• Engage directly with clients, offering guidance and addressing client inquiries and needs.
• Draft, review, and negotiate a variety of legal documents, including fund agreements, offering documents, and regulatory filings.
• Stay current with industry trends and regulatory changes impacting the investment management and fund formation sector.

Requirements:

• A background in investment management and fund formation is a requirement.
• Active membership in the North Carolina State Bar.
• Strong understanding of regulatory and compliance matters within the investment management industry.
• Proven track record in business development and client relationship management.

Education:
