Insurance Coverage Associate Attorney

A law firm in Philadelphia, PA, is seeking an Insurance Coverage Associate Attorney with the following responsibilities, requirements, education, certifications, and skills:

Job Overview:

The Insurance Coverage Associate Attorney will provide legal counsel and representation to clients in insurance coverage matters. This role involves extensive legal research, drafting, and court representation.

Duties:

• Conduct file reviews and perform legal analysis of claims and causes of action
• Conduct extensive legal research and draft substantial briefs, memos, pleadings, and appellate briefs
• Maintain an annual billable amount of 1950 hours
• Regularly represent clients in court, arbitrations, and depositions
• Draft and respond to discovery requests
• Coordinate with expert witnesses and collaborate as necessary
• Prepare for trials and attend as required
• May involve some travel

Requirements:

• 2-5 years of experience in insurance coverage preferred
• J.D. degree from an ABA-approved law school
• Admitted to practice in the state of Pennsylvania; admission in other states is a plus
