A law firm is seeking a talented Insurance Law (Coverage) Associate Attorney to join its dynamic team. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in the insurance coverage and bad faith practice. Exceptional written and oral advocacy skills, along with a top academic background, are essential for this role. Judicial clerkship experience is highly valued, and candidates licensed to practice in Pennsylvania, with a preference for New Jersey licensure, are encouraged to apply.

 

Duties:

  • Conduct legal research and analysis pertaining to insurance coverage matters.
  • Draft pleadings, motions, briefs, and other legal documents.
  • Assist in all phases of litigation, including discovery, motions practice, and trial preparation.
  • Provide strategic legal advice to clients on insurance coverage issues and bad faith claims.
  • Collaborate with partners and senior associates on complex cases and client matters.
  • Attend hearings, depositions, and other legal proceedings as required.

 

Requirements:

  • Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.
  • Licensed to practice law in Pennsylvania; New Jersey licensure preferred.
  • Strong academic credentials, with emphasis on coursework related to insurance law.
  • Should have litigation experience, preferably in insurance coverage matters.
  • Prior judicial clerkship experience is advantageous.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

  • Ability to effectively communicate complex legal concepts.
