A law firm in Los Angeles seeks an Employment Litigation Counsel who will play a pivotal role in advising clients on employment law matters, conducting legal research, drafting legal documents, and representing clients in court proceedings. The ideal candidate will possess exceptional communication and analytical skills, along with a strong background in employment litigation defense.

 

Duties:

  • Conduct legal research on employment law issues
  • Draft legal memoranda, motions, and pleadings
  • Attend court conferences and hearings
  • Handle discovery-related activities and investigations
  • Draft position statements and dispositive motions
  • Counsel clients on employment law matters

 

Requirements:

  • Juris Doctor degree
  • Minimum of 7 years of experience in Employment Litigation Defense
  • Licensed to practice law in California and in good standing
  • Superior written and oral communication skills
  • Strong organizational and interpersonal skills

 

Education:

Juris Doctor degree from an accredited law school

 

Certifications:

Must be licensed to practice law in California and remain in good standing

 

Skills:

  • Proficiency in legal research
  • Excellent drafting skills for legal memoranda, motions, and pleadings
  • Ability to effectively communicate complex legal concepts orally and in writing
