Employment Attorney

Job Overview:
A well-established employment law firm based in Century City is seeking a full-time Employment Attorney to join its litigation team. This role is suited for a candidate with a strong background in employment or labor law and the ability to manage cases from inception through resolution. The position offers the opportunity to be part of a fast-paced, growing legal team, handling depositions, discovery, court appearances, and law and motion practice.

Location:

• Los Angeles, CA

Duties:

• Manage employment litigation cases from intake through trial

• Conduct depositions and manage all aspects of discovery

• Draft and argue motions, including dispositive motions

• Make regular court appearances

• Perform legal research and case analysis

• Collaborate with legal team to develop case strategy

Requirements:

• Experience in employment or labor law litigation preferred

• Comfortable handling trial preparation, discovery, and motion practice

• Proven ability to work independently and take initiative on complex cases

• Familiarity with California employment law procedures

Education:

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school

Certifications:

• Active license to practice law in the State of California (required)

Skills:

• Excellent legal writing and oral advocacy skills

• Strong litigation and case management skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, WordPerfect, and Clio (case management software)

• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities

• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and deadline-driven environment
