Job Overview

A law firm seeks a mid-senior Labor & Employment Associate for its Los Angeles, CA office. This full-time position requires a minimum of 4 years of experience in labor and employment law. The successful candidate will work with a diverse range of clients across various industries.

Duties

• Represent employers in class and individual cases regarding wage and hour compliance.
• Handle cases involving employment discrimination, sexual harassment, and retaliation.
• Advise on leaves of absence, employee accommodations, and personnel policies.
• Draft and review employment agreements and related documents.
• Engage in wage & hour class action and PAGA litigation.

Requirements

• Minimum of 4 years of experience in labor and employment law.
• Strong interpersonal, writing, and analytical skills.
• Attention to detail and initiative to take ownership of work.

Education

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications

• Active membership in the California State Bar.

Skills

• Proficiency in legal research and writing.
• Ability to manage multiple cases and deadlines effectively.
• Strong negotiation and communication skills.
