Associate Litigation Attorney

A law firm seeks a motivated Associate Litigation Attorney to join a dynamic team in Los Angeles, CA. The ideal candidate will assist in representing clients in contentious matters, prepare essential legal filings, and advocate on behalf of clients in both employment and personal injury disputes.

Duties

• Advocate for clients in court appearances and administrative hearings

• Draft and review legal pleadings, motions, and correspondence

• Manage litigation discovery processes, including propounding written discovery and conducting depositions

• Negotiate resolutions and attend mediation sessions on behalf of the parties involved

• Ensure adherence to all governing statutes, rules, and professional guidelines

• Coordinate and oversee administrative tasks related to case management and docketing

Requirements

• Active membership in the California Bar in good standing

• Demonstrated interest in litigation, particularly in employment-related matters and personal injury claims

• Proven analytical and critical-thinking abilities to assess case strategy and evidence

• Comfort in establishing trust and maintaining strong client relationships

• Exceptional written advocacy and oral communication skills

Education

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school

Certifications

• Admission to the State Bar of California
