A law firm is actively seeking an Environmental Associate Attorney to join their team. The successful candidate will be responsible for handling a diverse range of matters, including enforcement defense, transactional diligence, day-to-day compliance counseling, federal and state rulemaking and policy development, administrative litigation, and advocacy before government agencies. Strong academic credentials, analytical skills, and excellent verbal and written communication skills are essential for success in this role.

 

Duties:

  • Handle a wide variety of environmental matters, including enforcement defense, transactional diligence, compliance counseling, rulemaking, policy development, administrative litigation, and advocacy before government agencies.
  • Provide legal support and advice on environmental issues.

 

Requirements:

  • 1-5 years of environmental legal experience.
  • Strong academic credentials.
  • Analytical skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

 

Education:

Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.

 

Certifications:

Active Bar membership in the relevant jurisdiction.

 

Skills:

  • Knowledge and experience in environmental law.
