Duties

• Manage a caseload of complex civil litigation matters from inception through resolution

• Draft and negotiate pleadings, motions, discovery, and contracts

• Represent clients in depositions, hearings, mediations, and trials

• Develop strategic litigation plans and maintain strong client communication

• Collaborate with partners and colleagues to deliver high-quality outcomes

• Mentor junior attorneys and supervise legal support staff

• Participate in focus groups, attorney training programs, and trial readiness activities

• Stay up to date on changes in relevant case law, statutes, and litigation trends

Requirements

• Minimum of 7 years of civil litigation experience

• Proven ability to manage and litigate complex matters independently

• Experience in personal injury, school/government liability, real estate, employment, or business litigation

• Prior trial experience and courtroom confidence

• Excellent legal research, writing, and advocacy skills

• Strong interpersonal and communication abilities

• Demonstrated commitment to client service and ethical practice

• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative legal environment

Education

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited U.S. law school

Certifications

• Active member in good standing with the California State Bar (required)
