A law firm is seeking a qualified General Liability Attorney for their office located in Mount Laurel, NJ. The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications:

Job Overview:

Duties:

• Represent clients in legal proceedings involving general liability matters.
• Conduct legal research and provide legal advice to clients.
• Draft legal documents, including pleadings, motions, discovery requests, and briefs.
• Prepare for and attend court hearings, depositions, and trials.
• Negotiate settlements on behalf of clients.

Requirements:

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an ABA-approved law school.
• Active license in good standing to practice law in New Jersey.
• 7-10 years of litigation and jury trial experience in New Jersey.
• Experience with insurance defense litigation, including commercial auto, trucking, and premises liability.
• Strong attention to detail, time management, and organizational skills.
• Excellent writing and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred:

• Experience in insurance coverage matters.
