Job Overview

A well-established law firm located in Irvine, California is actively seeking an experienced attorney to handle complex wage & hour class actions and collective actions under the FLSA. This role offers a high level of responsibility, significant federal court exposure, and a flexible hybrid or remote work arrangement within the surrounding area. The position will involve all phases of litigation with approximately three-quarters of the work focused on federal court matters.

Duties

• Manage wage and hour class actions and collective action litigation from inception through resolution

• Draft legal documents including pleadings, motions, discovery, and correspondence

• Handle case strategy and legal research in both individual and class matters

• Represent clients in court hearings, mediations, and depositions

• Coordinate with legal teams on case development and trial preparation

• Maintain compliance with court deadlines and procedural rules

• Collaborate with clients to provide strategic legal counsel throughout litigation

Requirements

• Active license to practice law in the state of California

• Substantial experience in wage and hour class actions and FLSA collective actions

• Prior exposure to federal court litigation

• Background in private legal practice or a federal judicial clerkship is preferred

• Strong analytical, writing, and oral advocacy skills

• Ability to work independently while maintaining team collaboration

Education

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school

Certifications

• Admittance to the California State Bar (Required)
