Associate Attorney with 2-5 years of experience

A law firm based in Waltham, MA, is actively seeking an Associate Attorney to join their team. The ideal candidate for this role will have 2-5 years of law firm or similar experience. The Associate Attorney will primarily focus on leading and supporting investigations, employment litigation, and employment counseling. Experience in investigations, litigation, employment law, or education law is a plus. The candidate must be admitted to practice in Massachusetts.

Duties:

• Lead and support investigations related to various legal matters.
• Handle employment litigation cases and represent clients in legal proceedings.
• Provide employment counseling to clients, offering legal guidance and advice.
• Collaborate with a legal team to analyze and address employment-related legal issues.
• Prepare legal documents, conduct legal research, and build case strategies.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of employment law and legal developments.
• Engage in client consultations and meetings as needed.
• Assist in educational law matters when required.

Requirements:

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree and admission to the Massachusetts Bar.
• 2-5 years of relevant experience, preferably in a law firm or similar legal environment.
• Strong understanding of employment law and relevant legal concepts.
• Familiarity with investigations, litigation, and education law is advantageous.
• Excellent communication and legal research skills.
• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively.
• Detail-oriented with strong analytical capabilities.
