Corporate Associate Attorney

A law firm in Washington, D.C. is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Corporate Associate Attorney with 3-5 years of experience in private equity, venture capital, and joint venture transactions. The ideal candidate will have a strong academic background, exceptional drafting and organizational skills, and prior experience in an Am Law 100 law firm.

Duties:

• Draft and review legal documents related to private equity, venture capital, and joint venture transactions.
• Provide legal advice and support to clients on corporate matters.
• Conduct legal research and analysis to ensure compliance with relevant laws and regulations.
• Assist in due diligence processes for corporate transactions.
• Collaborate with senior attorneys and partners on complex legal matters.

Requirements:

• Juris Doctor degree from an ABA-accredited law school.
• State Bar admission or eligibility to obtain admission promptly.
• 3-5 years of experience in private equity, venture capital, and joint venture transactions.
• Strong drafting and organizational skills.
• Prior experience in an Am Law 100 law firm.
