Duties:

  • Conducted legal research and analysis related to corporate transactions and mergers and acquisitions.
  • Draft and review transactional documents, including contracts, agreements, and regulatory filings.

  • Communicate with clients and counterparties to negotiate and finalize deals.
  • Stay updated on relevant laws, regulations, and industry trends affecting corporate transactions.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Law or Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.
  • 2-8 years of experience practicing corporate law, focusing on M&A.
  • Strong understanding of corporate governance, securities regulations, and contract law.
  • Excellent academic credentials with a record of achievement.
  • Admitted to practice law in the District of Columbia or eligible for admission by motion.

Certifications:

  • Membership in the District of Columbia Bar Association preferred.
