A law firm in Atlanta is seeking a highly experienced Senior Real Estate Associate Attorney to join their team. The candidate will focus on commercial real estate, development, investment, financing, and leasing, representing a diverse client base in complex transactions nationwide.

 

Job Details:

  • Handle commercial real estate matters, including development, investment, financing, and leasing.
  • Represent national retailers, restaurant operating companies, corporate end users, private equity, institutional investors, and other deal sponsors.
  • Engage in a wide range of investment and development transactions across various asset classes throughout the country.
  • Collaborate with colleagues in other offices across the national real estate platform.
  • Specialize in representing high-end resorts, luxury boutique hotels, mixed-use projects, and retail tenants.
  • Negotiate complex joint ventures and property acquisitions.

 

Requirements:

  • Possess strong writing, analytical, and communication skills.
  • Demonstrate legal project management experience and attention to detail.
  • Membership (in Good Standing) in the Georgia Bar or willingness to seek admission to the Georgia Bar.
  • Minimum of 4 years of meaningful experience in real estate.
  • Strong background in leasing and general real estate.

 

Education:

Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.

 

Certifications:

Member (in Good Standing) of the Georgia Bar or willingness to seek admission.

 

Skills:

  • Expertise in commercial real estate, development, investment, financing, and leasing.
  • Knowledgeable in representing various client types, including retailers, investors, and deal sponsors.
  • Experience in negotiating complex joint ventures and property acquisitions.
  • Legal project management skills.
  • Excellent academic credentials.
  • Strong writing and analytical skills.
