Briefing And Research Attorney

Job Overview: A law firm in San Antonio, TX, is seeking a Briefing and Research Attorney to assist the trial attorney in preparing personal injury cases. The successful candidate will be responsible for drafting various legal documents, conducting research, and supporting trial preparation activities.

Duties:

• Drafting discovery requests and responses, pleadings, and responses to motions.
• Conducting preparation and research for depositions.
• Assisting the trial attorney during trial proceedings.
• Learning proper techniques and strategies for developing plaintiff personal injury cases.

Requirements:

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree.
• Must be a licensed attorney in Texas and good standing.
• 0-3 years of personal injury experience.
• Excellent writing skills.
• Ability to work effectively on cross-functional teams.
• Previous customer service/sales experience is preferred, along with after-hours on-call experience.

Skills:

• Strong legal research and analytical skills.
• Proficiency in drafting legal documents.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Attention to detail and accuracy.

Education:

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

• Must be a licensed attorney in Texas and good standing.
