The successful candidate will engage with complex regulatory, coverage, and reimbursement issues affecting prominent organizations across healthcare, pharmaceuticals, and medical technology sectors.

Duties:

  • Provide regulatory guidance to life sciences and healthcare industry clients.

  • Advise on reimbursement, coding, and healthcare coverage complexities.

  • Offer strategic insights into major healthcare programs including Medicaid, Medicare, 340B drug pricing, ACA implementation, and legislative updates such as the Inflation Reduction Act.

  • Support transactional activities, drafting and negotiating healthcare agreements and regulatory compliance documents.

  • Collaborate closely with attorneys across practice groups to deliver comprehensive client solutions.

  • Identify potential compliance risks and develop innovative solutions to address evolving regulatory frameworks.

Requirements:

  • 2-4 years relevant experience in healthcare regulatory law, especially involving life sciences clientele.

  • Substantial familiarity with U.S. healthcare systems and associated regulatory practices.

  • Knowledgeable about healthcare program regulations including Medicare, Medicaid, 340B, ACA, and recent legislative enactments.

  • Proven ability in addressing coverage, coding, and reimbursement regulations.

  • Exceptional research, analytical, and communication capabilities.

  • Highly detail-oriented, organized, and capable of independent problem-solving.

  • Prior experience in governmental agencies or regulatory bodies is advantageous but not mandatory.

  • Must possess current, active Bar licensure in DC in good standing.

Education:

  • Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an ABA-accredited law school.

Certifications:

  • Licensed Attorney; admission to practice law in the jurisdiction applicable to Washington, D.C.
