A law firm in Seattle is seeking a Mid-Level Employment Litigation Associate Attorney with a focus on employment litigation, particularly class action matters. The ideal candidate will have a broad understanding of federal and Washington employment laws and regulations. The candidate must be a member or pending member of the Washington State Bar and should have at least 3 years of relevant experience. The Associate Attorney will be responsible for handling employment litigation matters, with a particular emphasis on class action cases. The role requires a deep understanding of federal and Washington employment laws and regulations, as well as the ability to manage both class action and single-plaintiff matters.

 

Duties:

  • Handle employment litigation matters with a focus on class action cases.
  • Manage both class action and single-plaintiff matters as needed.
  • Stay updated on federal and Washington employment laws and regulations.
  • Conduct legal research and analysis related to employment litigation cases.
  • Draft legal documents, including pleadings, motions, and briefs.
  • Communicate effectively with clients, opposing counsel, and the court.
  • Participate in all aspects of the litigation process, from case initiation to resolution.
  • Provide legal advice and counsel to clients on employment law matters.
  • Work collaboratively with other attorneys and legal staff within the firm.

 

Requirements:

  • 3+ years of experience in employment litigation.
  • Member or pending member of the Washington State Bar.

 

Education and Certifications:

Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree.

 

Skills:

  • Strong understanding of federal and Washington employment laws and regulations.
  • Experience with class action matters.
  • Legal research and analytical skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
