The ideal candidate should have relevant experience at a law firm, specifically in private company M&A and technology investments. Additionally, candidates should be admitted to and in good standing with the Texas Bar.

Duties:

  • Handle a broad range of legal matters related to corporate transactions, mergers and acquisitions (M&A), and securities.
  • Provide legal advice and counsel to clients in matters involving private company M&A and technology investments.
  • Draft, review, and negotiate transaction documents, contracts, and agreements.
  • Conduct due diligence in M&A transactions.
  • Assist clients in compliance with securities laws and regulations.
  • Research and analyze legal issues related to corporate, M&A, and securities law.
  • Collaborate with other legal professionals and clients to provide effective legal solutions.

Requirements:

  • 4-7 years of legal experience in corporate, M&A, and securities law.
  • Previous relevant experience at a law firm, particularly in private company M&A and technology investments.
  • Strong academic credentials.
  • Excellent analytical, verbal, and written communication skills.
  • Admission to and in good standing with the Texas Bar.

Education:

  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
