A law firm is seeking a Corporate Debt Finance Counsel for their office in Atlanta, GA. The ideal candidate will possess expertise in secured transactions for borrowers and lenders. Key responsibilities and qualifications include:

Job Overview:

• Provide legal counsel and guidance on corporate debt finance matters.
• Collaborate with clients and colleagues to structure and execute financing transactions.

Duties:

• Advise clients on secured transactions for borrowers and lenders.
• Draft and negotiate financing documents, including loan agreements and security documents.
• Conduct due diligence and risk assessments for financing transactions.
• Assisted in the closing of financing transactions and ensured compliance with legal requirements.
• Stay updated on relevant laws and regulations affecting corporate debt finance.

Requirements:

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
• Admission to the Georgia State Bar or eligibility for admission via reciprocity.
• Experience in corporate debt finance law.
• Strong understanding of syndicated financing and acquisition financing transactions.
• Proven track record of successfully closing financing transactions.

Certifications:

• Certification in Business Law or Finance Law is preferred.
