Workers Compensation Associate

Job Overview:
A leading law firm is actively seeking Workers’ Compensation Associate Attorneys to join its expanding legal team in Atlanta, GA. Location:

• Atlanta, Georgia

Duties:

• Represent clients in workers’ compensation matters from initial claim through resolution

• Conduct legal research and draft pleadings, motions, and legal memoranda

• Handle discovery processes, depositions, and court appearances

• Maintain communication with clients and opposing counsel

• Collaborate with team members and participate in strategy development

• Manage multiple active cases efficiently and with strong attention to deadlines

Requirements:

• At least 1 year of experience in workers’ compensation defense, or demonstrated interest in the practice area

• Strong understanding of Georgia workers’ compensation law preferred

• Willingness to work in-office 3–4 days per week, with remote flexibility after initial training

• Self-motivated, organized, and eager to grow in a fast-paced legal setting

Education:

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an ABA-accredited law school

Certifications:

• Active license to practice law in the state of Georgia, or scheduled to take the Georgia Bar Exam in 2025

Skills:

• Strong legal research and writing abilities

• Effective oral advocacy and courtroom skills

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

• Ability to manage a litigation caseload independently and efficiently

• Team-oriented approach with a focus on collaboration and continuous learning
