A law firm seeks a Workers' Compensation Associate Attorney in Atlanta, GA. This role involves managing a substantial caseload and providing high-quality legal representation to clients. Duties

  • Manage a caseload of approximately 150 workers' compensation cases.
  • Draft and submit settlement demands with supporting documentation.
  • Negotiate claims with opposing counsel, insurance companies, and other parties.
  • Respond to discovery requests thoroughly and within required timelines.
  • Conduct depositions of clients, witnesses, and experts as necessary.
  • Represent clients during court appearances, including hearings and motions.

Requirements

  • 0-3 years of workers' compensation experience.
  • GA Bar license required.
  • Strong research skills and top-quality writing skills.
  • Advanced technology skills for a paperless environment.
  • Ability to excel in a fast-paced challenging environment.
  • Commitment to exceptional client service.

Education

  • Bachelor's degree.
  • Juris Doctor degree from an American Bar Association accredited law school.

Certifications

  • Admission to the bar of the state in which practicing and in good standing with the bar association.
