Litigation Associate Attorney

Job Overview: A law firm in San Diego, CA, is seeking a Litigation Associate Attorney to join their team. The ideal candidate will have 2-4 years of substantive litigation experience, excellent research and communication skills, and the ability to develop and implement case strategies collaboratively.

Duties:

• Conduct thorough legal and factual research.
• Produce well-written, persuasive legal pleadings, motions, and briefs.
• Manage the discovery process, including drafting and responding to discovery requests.
• Review documents and participate in the preparation of discovery-related motions.
• Take and defend depositions.
• Collaborate with team members to develop and implement case strategies.
• Work proactively and collaboratively with other team members to ensure efficient case management.

Requirements:

• 2-4 years of substantive litigation experience.
• Strong research skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to multitask on high-level assignments.
• Eager to take the initiative and drive cases forward.
• Federal court litigation experience is helpful.
• High level of academic achievement from an ABA-accredited law school.
• Current admittance to the California Bar is required.

Education:

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an ABA-accredited law school.
