It is not unusual for first- and second-year litigators to take and defend depositions. The firm culture is very collegial and informal, and associates seem more cooperative than competitive. Compensation is competitive with that of other major firms in comparable metropolitan areas. In addition, associates are eligible to participate in the firm's profit-sharing plan after they complete two years of eligibility service with the firm.
