Claims Management and Coverage Counsel

Dallas office of a BCG Attorney Search Top Ranked Law Firm seeks claims management and coverage counsel with 2 years of legal practice experience in the insurance area. The candidate will independently manage a claims caseload, working claims from beginning to end. Will provide coverage, liability, and damages analysis for complex professional liability, employment liability, and D&O matters. Draft reservation of rights and coverage denial letters. Negotiate to resolve matters, participate in mediations, and draft settlement agreements. Work closely with other attorneys and Partners on legal projects. Ability to regularly interface with clients, carriers, and outside counsel. Communicate with clients and provide status reports. Must have Licensed to practice law in the US, New York preferred. Licensed insurance adjuster, preferably in the states of California, Florida, Arizona, Washington, or Texas required. Previous experience analyzing policies, and drafting coverage letters and opinions is a plus. Strong experience negotiating settlements is needed. Legal project management experience is helpful.

The candidate should have a JD degree from an accredited Law School. Must have superior written and oral communication skills required. Excellent legal research skills are required.
