Attorney needed for St. Louis office

A law firm in St. Louis, MO is seeking an Attorney with experience in litigation, particularly in Creditors' Rights law, to handle court appearances, motions, trials, and communication with clients. The ideal candidate will be licensed in Missouri and possess additional licenses in other states. Knowledge of the FDCPA is preferred.

Duties:

• Correctly prepare, appear timely, and properly handle court appearances.
• Draft, review, and file necessary motions during litigation.
• Prepare for trials/arbitrations, potentially requiring overnight stays in distant counties.
• Communicate with consumers, their employers, and their attorneys to resolve accounts/suits.

Requirements:

• Licensed and in good standing in the State of Missouri to practice law.
• Additional licensing in other states (IL, KS, IA, NE, ID, CA, WA, OR, AK, HI, NV) is welcomed.
• Preferred: Litigation experience.
• Preferred: Experience with Creditors' Rights law.
• Preferred: Knowledge of the FDCPA.

Education:

Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

Admission to practice law in the State of Missouri.
