Associate Shelli Clarkston Joins Lathrop GPM Business Transactions Practice Group in Kansas City
Lathrop GPM is pleased to welcome Associate Shelli Clarkston to the firm’s Kansas City office and Business Transactions Practice Group.
Clarkston has significant experience in banking and business transactions, including a focus on taxation. She advises clients on business capital raising, formation, reorganization, acquisitions, transfers, and dissolutions.
Prior to joining the firm, Clarkston was Chief Risk and Compliance Officer at Tata Consultancy Services in New Jersey. There she oversaw data privacy, adherence with U.S. and global data privacy regulations, and provided guidance to stakeholders and customers on regulatory compliance in financial services.
Clarkston earned her J.D. and LL.M. from the University of Missouri-Kansas City School of Law, M.A. from Doane College, and B.S. from the University of Nebraska – Lincoln.
