Fried, Frank, Harris, Shriver & Jacobson LLP announced today that Alexander B. Ginsberg has joined the firm as a partner in the Litigation Department and Government Contracts Practice, resident in the firm's Washington, DC, office.
 
Ginsberg specializes in government contracts litigation, compliance, investigations and transactions. At Fried Frank, he will counsel clients in all areas of government contracts law, including bid protests, contract disputes, enforcement defense, small business issues, cost accounting, compliance efforts and M&A involving government contractors. Ginsberg is recognized by Chambers USA: America's Leading Lawyers for Business in Government Contracts, where he has been described by clients as “a great lawyer, able to counsel clients on unique issues."

Prior to joining Fried Frank, Ginsberg was a partner at Pillsbury Winthrop Shaw Pittman in its government contracts and disputes practice, where he also served as chair of the firm's bid protest team. He received his JD from University of Chicago Law School and his BA, cum laude, from Harvard University. Additionally, Ginsberg currently serves as a vice-chair of the American Bar Association's Bid Protest and Small Business Committees.
