Hinckley Allen Continues Expansion of Premier Litigation and Real Estate Practices Hiring Three Attorneys Extending Presence in Southern New Hampshire

Hinckley Allen announced today that Arnie Rosenblatt, Kathleen M. Mahan, and Chris Kelly have joined the firm, resident in our Manchester, New Hampshire office, fueling our expansion into the Southern New Hampshire market.

Rosenblatt and Mahan join the firm as partners in Hinckley Allen’s complex business litigation practice. Rosenblatt comes to Hinckley Allen from Manchester-based Cook, Little, Rosenblatt & Manson (CLRM) where he was a founding partner. He has 40 years of experience as a trial lawyer and is highly regarded throughout the state. Mahan also worked at CLRM for nearly 13 years as a business litigator. Additionally, Chris Kelly joins Hinckley Allen as counsel from Union Pacific Railroad Company, where he was in-house real estate counsel for one of the largest private landholders in the country.

Prior to joining Hinckley Allen, Rosenblatt headed CLRM’s business litigation practice. He specializes in business disputes in state and federal courts, in regulatory settings, and in arbitration. Rosenblatt has tried a wide range of jury and non-jury trials to verdict and has handled dozens of preliminary injunction hearings. His notable cases include successfully trying two of New Hampshire’s landmark trade secret cases, one on behalf of the prevailing plaintiff and one on behalf of the defendants, ultimately obtaining a defendant’s verdict. Rosenblatt will also continue his active practice as a mediator and arbitrator.

Mahan is a business litigator practicing before the New Hampshire and Massachusetts state and federal courts and in arbitration proceedings. She helps corporate executives and business owners resolve disputes and works on intellectual property matters including trade secrets, trademarks, and copyrights. Kate also handles a full range of business disputes related to corporate governance, non-compete disputes, contract actions, and other professional disagreements. Mahan sits on the New Hampshire Bar Association Board of Governors as a Member at Large and on the New Hampshire Bar Foundation Board of Directors.

Kelly has been practicing law for nearly 15 years specializing in commercial real estate and was with the Union Pacific Railroad Company in Omaha, NE since 2014. As in-house real estate counsel for the Fortune 200 company, Kelly managed legal matters for a $500 million operating and non-operating commercial real estate portfolio. He has prepared and negotiated land acquisition, development, and construction agreements for major capital projects. Chris was the lead attorney in the successful development of a $500 million new railroad classification yard and also negotiated and advised the corporation on more than $20 million in property sales transactions annually.
