Lathrop GPM Adds Litigation Associate Emma Halling to Kansas City Office
Lathrop GPM is pleased to welcome Associate Emma Halling to the firm’s Kansas City office and Litigation & Dispute Resolution Practice Group.
Halling focuses her practice on complex business disputes, defending and protecting the rights of Fortune 500 information technology companies. Additionally, Emma has experience handling appeals, post-conviction litigation, and high-profile Special Victims Unit trials.
Prior to joining the firm, Halling served as Assistant District Attorney for Douglas County, Kansas, and was a Research Attorney for the Kansas Supreme Court and Kansas Court of Appeals. Additionally, she clerked for Equal Rights Advocates and a Minneapolis-based law firm focused on employment matters.
Halling earned her J.D. from the University of California, Berkley, School of Law in 2018, where she was senior executive editor of the Berkeley Journal of Employment & Labor Law and member of the Berkeley Journal of Gender, Law, & Justice. She earned her B.A. from the University of Kansas in 2015 with a double major in American Studies and Women, Gender, & Sexuality Studies.
