Construction and Energy Attorney Doug Rhorer Joins Baker Donelson
Doug Rhorer, an attorney representing clients in the energy and construction industries, has joined Baker Donelson's Mandeville office as of counsel.
Mr. Rhorer advocates for clients in commercial litigation and transactional matters, with an emphasis on construction, energy and environmental law. He advises owners, contractors and design professionals on a range of legal issues, including lien laws, change order disputes, construction and design defects, force majeure, bid protests, acceleration and delay claims. He has extensive experience negotiating and drafting construction contracts, professional services agreements and solicitation documents for private and public works projects.
In addition to his construction practice, Mr. Rhorer represents exploration and production companies and natural gas pipelines in litigation and regulatory matters, including legacy lawsuits, coastal land loss litigation and actions involving hydrocarbon and chemical releases.
Mr. Rhorer has been named to Best Lawyers in America® "Ones to Watch" in Commercial Litigation, Construction Law, Litigation – Construction, and Oil and Gas Law. He has also been recognized by Louisiana Super Lawyers as a Rising Star.
