Baker Donelson Adds Real Estate Attorney Jennifer Powell Decker
Jennifer Powell Decker, an attorney who represents clients in real estate, leasing and commercial lending transactions, has joined Baker Donelson as a member of the Firm's Real Estate Group.
Ms. Decker, who joins as of counsel in the Firm's Birmingham office, concentrates her practice in the areas of commercial real estate and secured lending. She counsels a variety of clients including landlords, tenants, buyers, sellers, and financial institutions, guiding them through the due diligence and contract negotiation process. Her practice includes advising and assisting clients in all aspects of lease negotiation and in the acquisition, financing and selling of real estate. Ms. Decker works with both lenders and borrowers on secured lending transactions, including real property acquisition and construction financing, asset-based and floor plan lines of credit, as well as equipment, vessel and aircraft financings.
A graduate of the University of Alabama School of Law, Ms. Decker is recognized by Best Lawyers in America® in Financial Services Regulation Law and Real Estate Law.
