Clark Hill Adds Katie Ilijic and Jessica Milligan to Education Practice in Michigan
Clark Hill PLC has added attorneys Katie Ilijic and Jessica Milligan to the firm’s Education practice in Michigan. Ilijic joins the firm as an Associate in Detroit and Milligan joins as a Senior Attorney in Grand Rapids. Ilijic and Milligan bring previous experience working with public school districts in Michigan and Illinois.
Ilijic represents school districts in the area of education law with a focus on special education and school disability law related matters. She most recently served as in-house counsel for Chicago Public Schools and taught in Michigan prior to attending law school.
Milligan counsels public school districts in all aspects of labor and employment law, including collective bargaining, contract interpretation, grievance arbitrations, and unfair labor practices. She works closely with school administrators in matters related to employee hiring, evaluations, misconduct investigations, discipline and termination, workplace discrimination and harassment, and employee leave and accommodation requests.
