Phillips Nizer Adds Trademark & Copyright Partner Charles LaPolla
Phillips Nizer LLP is pleased to announce that Charles P. LaPolla, a leading trademark and copyright attorney, has joined the firm as a partner in its New York office.
Mr. LaPolla joins Phillips Nizer from the firm of Amster Rothstein & Ebenstein LLP, where he was also a partner.
Mr. LaPolla handles all aspects of trademark law, focusing on areas such as the entertainment, fashion, cosmetics and jewelry industries. His work includes domestic and foreign prosecution matters, internet and domain disputes and proceedings before the Trademark Trial and Appeal Board and trademark litigation.
In addition to his work in trademark law, Mr. LaPolla also has extensive experience representing clients in copyright and unfair competition claims, including misappropriation of trade secrets and deceptive trade practices and other intellectual property litigation matters.
